Description This resource pack is not to be sold for any reason in full or in part. (Next time, notify me if you want to put something on Pony SFM)

After half a month The pony resize project is ready to go.

Now you no longer need to request Fillies and colts. If you can compile it, you can make your own kid pony.

These are the resized Pony overhaul source files, resized using Link's model resizer. Included are all the parts needed to put together an OC, 98% of the accessories, the Green Lantern mask, and Evil genius Twilight's googles

Notice to SFM users: This pack is designed to make it easier to make ponies at the size you need. With this you can bypass SFM's resize tool, and speed up your project by already having the correct size. These files are also intended for use in creating ponies for Gmod

Due to the entire pack being bigger then what DA would allow, I divided it up into 3

Part 1: sta.sh/0ahi5o3fmae Half size
Part 2: sta.sh/01zqbpx6dfsd Kid size
Part 3: sta.sh/0smd434ueyd big sibling size (Labled teen in the picture)

Eye corrections for the files: sta.sh/067pkcsl4u6
Size .68 is also included in the qc for teddy

the original source files were created by

The included Example QC is of a yet to be released G1 pony called Teddy

Update: All resources updated to have the fixed wing

If it works do you mind if I send it to SFM Ponies? because there are lot of people that have been requesting this for a while.

go for it. The pony I compiled with these files already works in SFM.

So it...Include flexes?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Glaber In reply to CobbaltCO [2013-08-06 23:59:54 +0000 UTC]

Yes, all flexes are included.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CobbaltCO In reply to Glaber [2013-08-07 01:57:29 +0000 UTC]

So, how did you manage for resize the flexes, each flexes at once?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Glaber In reply to CobbaltCO [2013-08-07 02:30:41 +0000 UTC]

Link's resizer program was designed to resize every vta file that's listed in a qc file. So I just opened the qc files that had the paths for each set of flexes in the program and attempted to compile. However, Link's program is unable to handle body groups for some reason, so this means that with each failed compile, a set of resized source files was still produced including the vta files defined.

To make sure I didn't have vta conflicts, I had to clear my resize experiment folder as link's program is unable to handle the folder structure used for the overhaul ponies.

CobbaltCO In reply to Glaber [2013-08-07 03:56:11 +0000 UTC]

Well, maybe is by the simple fact about my idea about the resizer was "Resize flexes" and not resize models, just because they can be resized without being broken, then the qc will have an extra "$scale" parameter
In simple words, those 40 minutes in the bath shitting was good

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Glaber In reply to CobbaltCO [2013-08-07 04:25:08 +0000 UTC]

No offense, but I couldn't get your resizer working no matter what I tried.

and unfortunately it appears I ran into a problem with my files as the resized ponies are crashing gmod, but not SFM nor the Model viewer.

CobbaltCO In reply to Glaber [2013-08-07 10:08:49 +0000 UTC]

So, you've used which app, the old one which can't open qc without show errors? That's what i'm asking

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Glaber In reply to CobbaltCO [2013-08-08 05:35:46 +0000 UTC]

ok I think I've id'd the real problem, an unused bone renamed itself to the head bone.

I really hate this problem as I don't think to look for it when it pops up.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CobbaltCO In reply to Glaber [2013-08-08 10:08:39 +0000 UTC]

The model shouldn't be resized, the precision of the vertices are too damn high, the app was broken by the simple fact that you must create before resize the sub folder for the new flexes, like resized\\flexes\\female\\rarity

If you don't the app will be stucked in the 2 flex...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Glaber In reply to CobbaltCO [2013-08-07 17:06:11 +0000 UTC]

when I tried to use yours, the program wouldn't even open. Since it was working for other people, I assumed it was a problem with my system.

All these resized models were resized with the resizer found here: l0nk.org/gmodscale/mscaledoc.h…

I just realized something important, i forgot to includ the eye fix for .5 and .75.

what size were you doing? if .68 grab everything releated to eyeposing from the included qc for teddy

JayriAvieock In reply to Glaber [2013-08-06 06:25:05 +0000 UTC]

I'm doing the .5 male and I pretty much used the QC file for teddy and went off from that.

JayriAvieock In reply to Glaber [2013-08-06 06:33:40 +0000 UTC]

thank you much. I will try this now. also I need the lines for the model to fetch the teeth and tongue texture too as well, as those lines are oddly missing in the example qc file.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Glaber In reply to JayriAvieock [2013-08-06 06:48:13 +0000 UTC]

oh those are located in the common texture folder.

I usually copy them over to the texture folder of whoever I'm working on so they can be released without needing that folder.

If you wish you can either do that, or re-add the second texture directory for the common texture folder on whatever pony you're making into the qc.
