Image for the... hopefully soon-to-be-put-up information site for the BA (USUK) Anthology I'm planning to release 2010 summer =v=;;;My hands have kinda rusted over from not CGing for a while so this was a test run and an experiment with a different colouring style... kinda thing. OuO;;
Learnt this style from a tutorial by an artist on Pixiv. Apparently she uses the crayon tool on Sai to colour instead. It's kinda airbrush-y, with a bit of texture and you can sorta... mix colours too. Actually quite nice. OvO
(/would have never thought of using the crayon tool like that orz)
Anyway I'm hoping to rope in a few more artists to join the current group and release more information soon >3<;

Yeah I know what you mean, but maybe the usual thick line fits you the best, y'know because we're all already used to it, and we all like your style just like that! Hmm, but I NEVER think that your lines are thick though

Ahahaha QuQ;;; a little weak kaa... Well in the tutorial the person was suggesting to keep the lines thin and not add too much well-defined thick-and-thin on the lines because it didn't fit with the colouring style she used... so I pretty much followed through and kept them thinner...
=v=;;; a lot of people have also said that my lineart is too thick for the type of colouring I'm aiming for (which is the atsunuri painter style and something more similar to this) which is why I tried to keep it thin this time...
