I agree with you. Although I am happy for the person because they got a DD, I don't really know WHY this deserved it. If the shoes are the focal point, they are still blurry. Oh well.

perhaps i should have say something like that :
"is nice, cute kitty, would have been pefect if something in the photo were focused or the compotision were in some place, anyway i love to view photos scrolling all over my 21 inches monitor"

-nothing in the photo was focused
-i do better photos with my mobile

never said what i really think: "that is a shit, with any of the elemments that make a shot good, focused, theme, good cropping, angle, tittle or history behind, frame, or artistic sense"

lets clarify some things:
I know very well this "community", begun like a site were non professional people learned how to improve their work taking advice of the comments that other people did on their work. Some comments were good, some comments were bad, but all were useful.
Now is the playground of gothics teenagers and otakus with no idea of what the hell the compotision, ilumination, shutter speed or even a camera is.
how could you think i wanna be the "favorite" in this kind of place!?!?!
im here becouse i have friends here, im here becouse were before you, im here becouse is a good place to hang my work on internet without buying a domain and hosting, but i dont care a shit about getting a favorite here
there are more important things than being in the main page or being selected for a DD
