Built this endearing/horrifying little guy last November for a chair transformation project in my sculpture class- [link]I like 'im, but he does seem to freak a lot of people out- from the dark corner of my room or chained to the bed...
Once rejected from a student juried art show.

he reminds me of a transformer. except a chair instead of a car. i always thought it would be creepy to be driving a car and have it transform with you inside it. let alone be sitting on a chair only for it to say "howdy" (which is something chair-boy here looks like he would say). it would be awesome for infiltration missions though; nobody would suspect the chair. o_O

I don't find this disturbing at all. It's rather pleasant to look at.
His gesture gives him a lot of life. I realy expect him to get up and start dancing.
