ami mizuno (sailor mercury) from sailor moonin the anime and manga occasionally youll find her reading or studying in the tub. so i was all "oooo i want candid shots of this!"
so pulled up the pictures and brought them with me to the bathroom and DID IT!

The artwork you're emulating here has always been one of my favorite Ami pictures, as it cutely sums up her attitude towards reading -- hate to waste a moment! You've done a great job capturing that here.

i had that question too but the conclusion i came to was that i was still acting and dresed as a character so thats how it was still considered cosplay in my mind. hsrd to tell when it comes down to images like that.

Well, you can be proud of these... they came out really nice, and you make a very believable (and cute!) Ami. Especially with the glasses, which just look right on her even though she only rarely wore them.

yeah i think i only see her wearing them in the scene where shes doing the bath and than the only other time i recall her wearing anything like glasses is the ones part of her sailor uniform

thank you~ it was a bit of effort i had to look at the canon shot and have my photographer tell me what to move where and the tub was so deep im actually sitting on a step stool and two pillows lol it was a bit of an effort

i luv sailor moon! i just started the mangas, and well, I CAN'T STOP!!! why can't i have endless moneys? anyway, I wish I could cosplay as sailor moon someday, without needing a wig!! that'd be awesome! I;m blonde, anyway.

i do too. i havent really been into in a long time but nostalgia got me back in. alot of ym friends are cosplaying it so i elected to do ami since shes so cute and quiet lol. as far as i know the manga isnt in print anymore in the states so its rather expensive and slightly harder to come by

oh, I get the manga real cheap at a comic book store called Austin Books and Comics, and Kodansha releases them! they're like 10 bucks.
