And this is why Godzilla has never met his future son-in-law. XD

In all seriousness, I came up and made this meme late last night mostly because I could easily see this conversation taking place between Godzilla and Godzilla Junior. Godzilla would strike me as being overprotective of his son and causing problems in their relationship even if Godzilla has the best of intentions. He'd still be a good dad, just one who doesn't have an "off" switch for certain situations.

As to why Megaguirus was Godzilla Junior's girlfriend, I actually picture the Prince of the Monster as being bi and possibly having a..."preference" for insect kaiju. Plus, I could see Megaguirus being someone who Junior could connect with in an "opposites attract" mentality. Though Leo would still be my go-to choice for pairings with Junior (outside of another kaiju who isn't an insect) as I'm pretty sure Junior x Leo are my OTP at this point.
