Scuttle the Sponge Crab is Oulaya's kid sidekick. His tiny scurrying legs and light body lets him catch up to Oulaya's running and sometimes can flutter briefly into the air. His spongy Head can also be used as a trampoline to get into high places.

Brutes the River Otter is the biggest bully in Oulaya's home of Faucet Lake. Quick to anger, very dimwitted and super strong. Though because of this, he could be valuable assist or dangerous threat depending on where his anger is directed towards.
