This is probably my favourite thing i've done recently- The Woodsman, from Over The Garden Wall, an absolutely brilliant mini-series on Cartoon Network. If you haven't given it a look yet, I would totally recommend it. It reminds me of an old fairy tale- the kind full of whimsy and magic but not leaving out the very dark aspects of life. OTGW certainly doesn't hold back on that.

I'm so proud of that shading on the tree. I've never been good at lighting, but I sure as hell am getting better.
