Description
Pregnancy can be a tedious thing...The baby has to be perfect.
Some mothers squeal at the chance to shove out a mindless sack of gurgles and repeats, but others...they have standards.
She pierced the fluid of one; it'd sent them both down screaming,
The other she just took the vaccum to: why bother explaining much to the air?
But me...she felt me kick...but her claws had never slapped against it...not before then....she'd only ever pressed a pad down, so I'd absorb the shock...
I think I was her accident...I think I was her miscarriage.
(Alright I'd probably better explain this one in full
Also; another thing that tipped me off was her utterance of "Patience Dark Ace, A watched Sun never sets"-- Well,ya know how "Sun" and "Son" sound the same but, in terms of context, mean different things? This Could be taken asa sort of ironic foreshadowing--say, if she meant "A watched Son never sets"--given that she seemed to keep the closest of her eye on Ace like a mother would to a child; perhaps she thought without giving him that leniency for him to "grow/destroy all she worked for" she thought she could secure victory? Or, if she had kept an eye on him in ep 39, she would have again, won anyway if her own supposed spark of Paranoia towards weren't interfering with her plans? )

The idea is brilliant; I love it. "The mother of the soldier", right? A successful man at first and then he slowly begins to lose again and again, later even going as far as going berserk and getting rebellious against Cyclonis.
It's almost like a mother and child, where the child begins to use drugs more and more and the mother starts to get more and more disappointed; then the child breaks something valuable to the mother and the mother then gets angry of it, starting to handle things with force and then not letting the child out of her sight ever again, because she won't trust the child that theyäll stay sober.
I hope that made sense now...
On graphical note, though, I could give you a little tip on the hand. It's a bit too wide and the thumb is too up. If you look at your hand, you can see that the thumb is not at the same level as the rest of the fingers. Almost like an abandoned sibling. And the middle finger is the longest. And don't give too much space between the fingers. Other than that, I don't have anything else to complain.
Love that umbilical chord; it's so freaky and stands out from the picture like nothing else. It's the brightest thing in the picture and it really pushes out the meaning of the picture, giving it life.
Now, Ace's head... Damn you! Thank ankle! You can draw a head from that ankle! That is so not fair! I can't draw that even if my life depended on it!
And I love that background. The more I look at the picture in whole, I get chills. And that, my dear, is a powerful sign of a powerful picture.
