(And I'm pretty sure I'd never do that unless it was some sort of personal base only for a few people.) If you DO use, credit me. I don't care what this is used for, as long as you do not claim the base that was made by me as your own. It is not required that you link back with the finished product, but it would be nice. Have fun and take your damn time.

Forgot to add that linking the picture does not make it any less of an ART THEFT because you probably did not get permission of the conceptual artist. You didn't even put the concept artist name there.
Which is disrespectful to the artist.
How would you like it if people made bases of your cartoon with out your permission? Would you scream art theft?
It's also funny how you say please credit me when you didn't even do the same for the concept artist of this cartoon?

but you know, tracing images from anime screenshots is like make doujinshis - not a problem, the original artists earn more money. The image gets popularity, the anime too. This is why tracing bases and makes doujinshis isn't illegal.

I see where you are coming from, and i am sorry for the comment but most the time they are trolls or just base haters.
I know granger, and if the original artist were to tell her to remove it, she would. It's really hard to get permission from anime shows, and as long as we do not take credit, i do not think it would be...bad. But if it was offical art work from on dA, she'd look for them, or if they found it remove it from her gallery.
