This drawing is based on a Christian legend that tells that St Peter was feeing Rome,during the christian persecution,on his way out the city,Christ apeared to him carrying the cross walking towards the city.Peter asked to Jesus "Domine,quo vadis?" which means,Lord where are you going?Jesus replied:''I'm on my way to Rome to be crucified again".Peter answered he wouldn't let it to happen.So he returned to Rome to help the christian being persecuted,and while doing so he was arrested and condemned to be crucufied.Somehow this vision was foretelling St Peter's martyrdom.This drawing was made with black ballpoint pen and colored pencils.
