Non-serious, last-minute entry to the Thursday Prompt: Take Off Your Colors . While the line-art is simple, it actually includes some of my first serious use of gradients in digital art. If only I knew how to use them without creating that damn aliased edge on the outsides... I attempted to mitigate that using a third-party smudging tool for Paint.NET by pyrochild/Zach Walker, but it isn't as good as I'd like. Anyway, I used the Balloon and Avatar Overlay assets from the party pack (the latter upscaled using a basic image upscaler before being shrunk down to 1070px), the background color from the main page, and the colors come from either in the default llama the case of the llama and the Profile Header in the case of all the other stuff.

Anyway... Happy 21st BirthdAy/Anniversary, DeviantArt! Incredible how an entire generation of children and sub-adults has lived within your existence! To at least 21 more years! (And yes, I will post a proper entry to the DeviantArt Birthday Challenge ... actually I shouldn't promise that. I think promises are cursed for me—that probably made it less likely to come to pass. )
