Description
An image of the full Moon casting shadows with brightness increased 9 times (gamma corrected, of course) to match what it would look like if it had Enceladus's albedo, which is the highest in the Solar System at 0.99. Unfortunately, the original low-brightness image was 24-bit, and therefore the modified image is somewhat grainy and has a low color depth. I feel it adds a special charm to it, as it looks somewhat like a colorized image from the Early Space Age, like Luna 3 or Surveyor, and to a lesser extent like Pioneer 10/11, Viking, and Voyager. When we first send probes to extraterrestrial habitable worlds, the images they send back may look something like this, due to bandwidth constraints.
