This is a fan made poster inspired by the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides.
For this painting I used the trailer found here [link] as an inspiration
For the mermaid I found inspiration in a set picture **SPOILER** which supposedly depicts a dead mermaid lying on a beach. The picture can be seen at this site: [link]

My guess is that the mermaids are generally evil, but one of them really falls in love with jack, but he doesn't love her as much as he loves Angelica (though he can't tell her of course). This makes the mermaid an angry mermaid which is what will drive the plot of the movie... but that is just my guess

The ending will be the mermaid getting revenge by enchanting the crew of whoever's ship they happen to be on, destroying said ship and all hands aboard thus bring an abrupted and unexcepted ending to the movie. Angelica, however, survives as the mermaid's song doesn't effect her.
I just hope Jack goes back to his one true love- the sea. One way or another.
