When you paint on top of everything to get a more saturated look and added colour in -- what layer mode do you use for that? normal? Because then all the shading would get lost, right? Which one do you use for that?

grayscale to color tutorials are usually really complex for no real reason, this one isn't, and i cant thank you enough for that

oml I've seen other grayscale to color tutorials but I only understood it when I saw this tut. Thank you so much!
Though, I do feel like I'd mess with the perfected value map if I manually add brighter colors when adding hues. But then again I'll never really know until I try.

I actually never heard of this method, the Grayscale to Color. That's actually really interesting.
