A ref for all of Flashes life stages, including both pre and post experimentation, his story his double tied to Dr.Evi, which is why I wanted to get her ref done first but since she's a human (me no likey to draw) and her ref is really big I got stuck on it, so said fuck it; the whole point of going back to my sparklechus was to have fun, I'm not gonna forbid myself from working on them bc I don't have thier trainer's ref done.
Also I had this already finished for like.. a week, I just compltely forgot about it.

He was her first pokemon, he's the reason she's obssesed with the pikachu line, he gets his hair tuft colored with pokemon-safe dye by her as a lil bonding thing, and has been since he was a pichu.
His life was pretty normal even during the time Dr.Evi worked for team rocket, it's when she went to live alone and started ramping up her experiments that things started going sideways.

Eventually after a lot of "failed" experiments (and after experimenting on herself mind you) she decided to... "enhance" him as well; the most visible thing being the light ball embedded in his abdomen. After this he became unable to evolve with a thunderstone, and with some more testing she found that he reacted to a dawn stone instead, which allowed him to evolve into a pokemon different from raichu; she dubbed this new, unique species "gigachu".

Flash still loves his trainer very much, in fact he's more worried about her health than his own, considering he's pretty much perfectly fine after evolving, he doesn't blame her for the experiments (it has to be noted she would never intentionally harm her 'chus, she does any operation under general anesthetic).

Flash is the primary help when it comes to teaching the new 'chus the ins and outs of the house and lab, and is considered like a big brother by most of them, some even see him almost as a parental figure; he's frequently the one splitting up conflicts.
