The only thing I don't get is how come the sting-mark is on the wrong side. The 6th panel seems to imply she was hit on her left flank, but in panels 9 and 10, her right flank is the one facing the "camera" and it's very clearly stung.
Or else Celestia's mark turns red when she's plotting to murder Discord. That is also a possibility.
