Ive gotten alot of questions lately on how i create my characters, so i decided to share some of my thinking process with you guys :3Hope it helps ^^ <3

Hi, I've been wanting to make a decent animal character for a while but I'm having a tad bit of some trouble. I'm no good at drawing animals at all. I can't ever really get their bodies right. They look too lumpy or they look too skiny, something is alwaced placed wrong.
So, I was wondering, in your opinion, what's the easiest animal body shape to draw?
I'd like to practice it a bit and perhaps after I'm good at it, change things and eventually have a good character.
So, if you don't mind responding to this, Could you tell me your opinion please?

It all depends on who draws them xD What is easy and not is all up to people, its never the same for everyone. Sit down and draw animals from photos, try to make them cartoony and not realistic as in the photo, try to get down the shapes and overdo them alittle. Do this to many animals and then draw them more and in diffrent poses

Sometimes keeping something simple is the best way to keep something awesome ^^
If we look at your character without clothing, her hair is very detailed already, and the green ribbon is a nice touch, because its such an intense contrast. instead of detailed clothes like that i would go for that dress only, were you could maybe include the green you have used on the ribbon somewere ^^
that dress looks amazing btw 
best way to also keep something simple even if you have alot of details, is to keep a certain amount of colors, mostly not more than 6-7 diffrent colors ( shading is not included)

It's been about two months now and i'm almost ready to give up. I really need you to reply to this email. I have been countlessly searching, looking through tutorials, getting reference ideas, and nothing is helping!

I cant really draw the character for you. Like all the other people said, it is your character and you need to create it by your hand. sure I can help you with ideas and some suggestions, but in the end you still have to do it yourself. And it will take months,years or even longer til you find the perfect one. It took me 6 years before i found snuffen. So dont try and force it. Start of with something simple and change it as you go :3.
Best thing to do or the best suggestion ive got for you is start of with your favourite animal and keep it orange, dont add any fancy unatural designs just yet, try to even keep it completely orange and draw it a few times. Then you migth see that you maybe want to add a darker or lighter color somewere and add that. And then draw it a few times again. if you liked it but still want more, keep doing this for a while. And one day you might even change the whole thing. If you didnt like it, then remove it and start over again :3
and in the end you will end up with a perfect character.
the mistake alot of people do is they try to base their character off someone elses they love, because they think it will make their character just as awesome, but believe me, a few weeks will pass and you wont like it anymore because you didnt create it to begin with. Ive been there and done that when i was young. Didnt work at all.
you just have to use the things you like the best. Thats really the best advice out there.

I would keep the pentacle as a necklace or collar. x3 or maybe on the back if you rather want it on the character. But im more found of shapes that can occur on animals natural, but swirls work creat on the body ^^, like on hips,necks and shoulders :3

You know, a few days ago I was drawing up a character. She had a simple design, was fun to draw and I'm almost ready to post her now. And then I was all "wait, I've read something like this somewhere..." and then I remembered this. Thanks!

ya coloring is the hardest part for me cant decide what to color it

duplicate the lines and try diffrent colors ^^ doodle ranndom things and see if you like it, if you dont then just draw on the next set of lines, so then you dont have to erase it and when you look back at them all you might see combinations you like :3
