Description
This flerp came into my house. Sorry dude but my house is not for you. Its still just small Turdling that cannot really fly that well yet, so I took it back outside and waited til it called out for the parents and then i put it back down in the forest part of our yard were they all are, and the parents came right away xD Also keeping my cat inside for a bit so it can get to safety.I really despise these birds, but as much as I would like them all gone, its not my job lol

I hate it when a bird needs help in/around my house period.Β
All the bird rescues we could find in our area (which by the way is SUBURBAN so it's not like we live miles away from civilization) are either NOT actually bird/animal either don't take birds or they're closed at 3:00 in the afternoon. So when we try to take care of the birds at our house they always die! The only bird that ever lived that we caught was a tailless adult magpie that was lucky enough for us to find a magically wonderful place we never heard of before to take him to ON CHRISTMAS EVE. xD

We have sparrows nesting in the roof of our chicken coop and I hear them every single day. Oddly enough none of the birbs in my yard are scared of me so I just go about my business and they just move out of my way a little.

When we got our new neighbors they had some kids and not long after they moved in I heard a bang on my sunroom window and thought their kids were throwing rocks at our house. But when I went outaide I found a woodpecker stubbed and disoriented. I held him until he snapped out of it and let him go in my backyard. Don't know how he managed to survive such a powerful hit, but it did and it was such a beautiful bird and I'm happy it lived. I even still see hik around and this happened almost two years ago!

We have a little βguestβ in the form of a pee wee who believes he is in mortal combat and every window is his enemy. He even got caught in the Garage once and so then began the βDanceβ of catching a wild bird. Not Fun.
He visits every day and now he brings his buddies.

It's the sound. Their relatives, the blackbirds, have a lovely singing voice but these bastards are all about KRΓK KRΓK KRΓK and nothing else. Also they are hella agressive when it comes to their offspring. Don't go anywhere near their nests, seriously 8'D

People do keep ring neck doves as pets. If the bird seems super friendly and returns, you should check your local lost pet listings.
