This one took a little while but I'm still not sure if I'm finished with it. And to think, I actually made this slightly more innocent than anything else I post
This is only part of the image, the rest has been cropped out to focus more on the girl. The girl in the picture is actually a re-imaged version of one of the characters that I drew up a while ago. The only thing different is that I decided to swap the eye color for the hair color - I think I like her this much better.

Very observant - you hit the nail on the head! I used a photo reference I took to draw all the flowers. Unfortunately, when I was finished the first thing I noticed was the abnormal size of the flowers. I could have resized it, but that would have easily meant many more hours so I decided to create the illusion that this was not Earth with the visible planetary rings (which are more visible in the complete original.

nice smile,the eye and hair color are just great.i kinda dislike the dress color but it does fit with the sunny light.speaking of which,the shading/shadowing and how you pay so much attention to details is quite amazing

I never really had any formal training and just kept drawing because I enjoyed it. Around my teen years I started to get books about drawing (a couple how to draw manga books and some other life drawing books) and just studied those. Currently, I look at a lot of photos as reference to help me figure out how something works or how the body moves. All I can really say is to practice and try new things until you find something that works for you. There was a lot of trial and error!

awesome sauce, love how the character has that innocent look but if you pay careful attention to the line art and the shadow work you can see her whole body. And all the shades and the elements remind me of a girl i saw last week it kinda looked something like this and then it started to rain... but awesome work you did here
