Genetics

Dragon ; Has traits of wasps and feline-like paws/legs

Anatomy

- Very thin waistline, similar to the one of a wasp

- No fur but leathered skin (exceptions are ears, neck and cheek. Very rare mutations can also have fur on their tails or even tails that are completely furred)

- Short, feline-like legs, paws with 4 toes each and without Pawpads

- Two horns on the head, close to the ears

- Strong tails that usually are pretty flexible (depending on how long it is)

- Height: around 28 cm (plus/minus a few)

- Weight: Between 12 and 20 kg

- Males and Females are about as big.

Colours and coat patterns

Their colours and patterns don't have any limits, though pure black and white are extremely rare.

Same goes for their eyes. Wasgon have coloured Sclera's – as well as coloured pupils.

Their tongues are ALWAYS striped. Most Wasgon have a two-striped tongue. Three-striped tongues are rare, but appear every now and then.

Many Wasgon have a natural base colour , but that isn't always the case. Non-natural base colours aren't rare, but happen to appear less. So far there isn't any wasgon with a bright toned colour (such as pungent reds, blues, greens, etc)

Habitat and diet

Wasgons live in tropical areas, most likely close to rivers, lakes or other water sources. They need to be covered by trees so they prefer areas with forests close to them. They are most likely found on islands, in the mountains or in rainforests.

Wasgon feed on fish and berries. They catch fish with their beak-like snouts. If they are in a group, the ones catching fish always let the rest eat first. As for berries, they eat all berries they can find, they most likely don't have any preferences. One thing Wasgon love more than anything else, though, is potatoes. Many Wasgon never get to taste one in their entire life though.

If food is scarce, Wasgon will also eat insects or small mammals (for example mice or moles)

Behaviour

Wasgon are loners and usually don't like living in big groups. If they do, they aren't bigger than 5.

Most of them live alone or with their partner though.

Once they found their partner, they protect them at the price of their own lives, males such as females.

Wasgon try to live in peace if possible, but if they have to fight, they bite each other with their beaks, and lame them with some poison that's in their (black) salvia.

They don't kill other wasgon unless it really has to be. The salvia can't kill Wasgons, only lame them. (They also use the poison to lame or eventually kill their prey)

Once every month, full moon, they get the ability to fight with with claws (who are made of a glowing mass.)

They rarely ever make use of it, but when they do it sounds like thunder for humans or other animals.
