Maxis obtains the MPD and Aether's power in 2036 and begins his plan to destroy the Earth so that Samantha can escape into Agartha after being extracted from Richtofen's body.

However, while that was going on. The undead corpse of Ritsuka escapes Groom Lake with a horde of the undead under his command. After being experimented on and turned into a test subject for both the United States Government and Broken Arrow program.

He now holds a grudge against humanity for not stopping the pain he went through during those years after he died in the late 1960s.

With so much hate growing inside his mind, he begins to distance himself from Chaldea's belief in saving humanity.

While traveling a certain distance. He is stopped by the appearance of the Shadow Man, who floats above with the Holy Grail he stole from a different Ritsuka who completed Shinjuku singularity.

He asks undead Ritsuka if he wants to join him in destroying humanity that existed in his universe and other universes in exchange for him becoming his apprentice.

Observing the world around him being destroyed. He accepts his offer and joins the Shadow Man in his quest to consume and absorb other universes or dimensions in the COD Zombies and FGO universe.

- To clarify. Post-Classified and Moon Ritsuka is still alive with the remaining members of Ultimis in Hanger 4. In 1963.

- This is his undead self, over 70 years after his death from being experimented on.
