This may be one of my favorites of yours to date! The lighting is absolutely gorgeous Β and I love that "stormy evening" kind of feel to it. Β That really sets the mood for this piece.

you can but its not a very relaxed pose, meanwhile her hand is almost limb, you wouldnt really do that unless you are hurt

I go camping a lot.Β Carrying a lantern with a stiff wrist is what becomes much more uncomfortable.Β The muscles in the wrist do not lend well to holding something up for long periods of time.Β If you are going a distance, you find that you can let your wrist go limp, while keeping your fingers gripped.Β You then use your arm as a fulcrum, making it more a function of your biceps.Β Of course, the lantern I camp/hike with is electric and plastic, but especially for going distance at night (typically from a camp to a waterfall, clearing to see the stars, or some other natural thing which is enjoyable at night... I set camp before dark), this becomes an awkward looking, but effective way of carrying a lantern over a distance.
