Everything drains out of you. You don't have blood any more, you have cold, liquid nothing. There is nothing inside you. It's like a heart attack where everything you need goes directly to your head. The first step you take leaves your guts, your lungs, and your heart behind. All you need are your bones and your muscles and your brain.

That's the drain. You don't know where everything important has gone, all you know is that you're better off without it right then. And when it comes back, you're broken. You're a whole person who has been ripped apart.

Drain. Leave it all out. Don't ask for your humanity back. All that will cause is hurt.
