I am a bomb.tick tick tick
I will explode.
It's only a matter of time
Before I finally blow up.
I've done it more than once.
But I always wake up together
Reassembled by the night.
I exploded just last evening
When I lashed out against my life
And hurt the ones I loved
With shrapnel from my heart
That cut them deep and dangerously
Until I nearly lost them all
And died myself as consequence.
I am ticking every minute
And I'm worried that one day
I'll finally be shattered
And not wake up together again.
