"FAIRY WINGS! THOSE MINI-SIZED EQUINES HAD THE NERVE TO CALL ME "FAIRY WINGS"!?" Spore yelled loudly as he was flopped on the grass next to a young draconequus, who was gently waving their paw at their friend, desperate to calm them down.
"You don't have fairy wings, don't worry," Quetzalcoatl spoke gently to the dragling, smilingly softly, "And "fairy wings" isn't even an insult, dear friend, don't stress over it," Spore turned to look at his friend, an expression of confused and angry was plastered on his face. Quetzalcoatl tilted his head, trying to decipher the meaning of the emotions.
"Quetz, I'm not offended about the actual NAME they called me," Spore shook his head, tutting almost, "I'm CONFOUNDED WITH THEIR IDIOCY! My wings are OBVIOUSLY made up of polysaccharides! A fairy's wings would," he shook his clawed hands dramatically then threw them up in the air, "Well, they'd be made of-of MAGIC! NOT CHITIN!" the brightly coloured creature sputtered the explanation, aggressively looking for his companion's agreement. Quetz could only blink in response.
An almost sad look appeared on Spore's face but it was short lived, and he quickly returned to his ranting. "And then they called you a MIX UP! They said you look like someone glued a bunch of animals together!" a growl came out of Spore's throat, "WHEN IN REALITY, YOUR APPEARANCE SHOWS YOU HAVE A DIVERSE GENEPOOL! Draconequus that look "normal" are usually suffering from a rather rare case of INBREEDING!" Spore gave a small grin in Quetzalcoatl's direction.
"Yes, dearest, yes," Quetz had no idea what he was meant to respond, his dragling companion really did sputter nonsense sometimes, "You're dealing with this...well...." A faint chime was heard in the distance, almost drowned out by Spore now rambling about the superiority of every creature over ponies. "Spore, come, It's time to go back to class."
Spore continued his intense debate with nobody. Quetz became anxious.
"Spore, please can we go back to class before we get detention AGAIN!?"

I have been wanting to draw these two nextgen children for AGES because i love their friendship
spore is the son of spike and thorax and quetz is discord's son!
