This might be a really stupid question, but why do you lay a coat of the colorless blend on first?

so when u put on the color on top, it will blend and/or make the color lighter (:
sometimes colorless blenders dont work well on top of the color, it just makes a weird color e_e
so putting before sometimes helps the color effect better

Can you but a brush tip nib on an original copic marker?

just a question but i have ciao copic makers and i've been using them on normal sketch paper and its bleeding do i need a certain kind of paper to use them with ?

I use them, and found the same thing, luckily i put a few bits of paper down, and yeah, but i now use the paper that is shown on number 6 - the white and green one with copic written on it, and they dont bleed threw. i only use that from now and none have ran threw the paper

Its not necessary to replace the nib when you're filling them unless you trash it (I'm kind of tough on my pens, especially the sketch ends). They sell extra nibs if you destroy them like that.

whats the difference between the sketch and the original marker?

Sketch has a special tip that is like a paintbrush, originals just have two wedge-type tips. Sketches are also more oval shaped while regulars are big rectangular markers.

I really like copics so I was browsing tutorials and even if this isn't a step-by-step how to draw tutorial using copics, It was the most useful tut. I wish I can get copics T_T
