I've been working on a new art project over the week, this one on the Indie game known as Super Lucky's Tale, initially came out 2017, updated 2019 for the Switch.
I heard this game is quite reminiscent to classic 3D Platformers, and the gameplay is also similar to the modern platformers; something I would want to play.
Super Lucky's Tale is about the titular fox, Lucky ending up being teleported by a relic known as The Book of Ages, while he and his sister, Lyra are escaping an evil band of cats, keeping the book away from their clutches.
Now Lucky must travel through different worlds, collect the missing pages, and face off against the evil kitties in his way to return to his home world and reunite with his sister.
So this is Lyra's half of one picture , with Lyra staring at the skies from her home world with her goggles on, holding the family photo, in hopes of her bother's return.
As for the design, I've used inspirations and references to elements from the concept art, official art, some art Sean Galloway had worked on for the game, and used some references within the game itself.
I've also added a few personal touches, like the two-toned gloves, or a little extra fur on Lyra's chest (Hands off, furries ).
