Full view recommendedI watched How To Train Your Dragon again (for the 15th time) last night since some of my friends who were in town haven't seen the movie yet. I was, once again, reminded of how endearing of a character Hiccup is, and how he can somehow represent the odd combination of cowardly, courageous, bright, playful, and open-minded.
This was in addition to recently coming across the Japanese theme song for the movie: "Emerald" by Becky --> [link] The PV, which was very Hiccup-centered, puts together some of the nicest scenes from the movie, which I enjoyed very much
I wanted to draw at least one picture of Hiccup in order to illustrate his character as well as possible. And as always, I wanted to include the line art in case anyone wanted to color it as well. Please enjoy!

I love this, but the only thing I'd suggest is adding in his freckles. At least, I think he has freckles.

Love that movie! This picture has such a bold look to it, even though Hiccup has a generic looking appearance at first. It shows a lot of inner confidence even though there isn't a lot of action or facial expression to go by.
