No plans for such right now, and there's lots of commissions ahead. But send me a pm sometime and perhaps I can see if there's something I could show you, that's not in my galleries here.

How long does it take you to draw one of these/and how do you usually start one of your drawings?

Sketching/lines 3-5 hours, inking 1-2 hours, colouring anywhere from 4 to... I dunno. Let's just say 10-14 hours average altogether or something, if it's hi-resolution image like this. Quickies and other low-res works can be done in half the time. Usually I start my works by brief outlining of the character(s), then start molding them from there.

How do you choose which pose you want for your girls?

Varies a lot. I come up with ideas out of the blue a lot, sometimes commercials and other art can inspire me. Sometimes I just improvise, starting with something but ending up with something different. There's no routine process in that phase, so to speak.

What about shading?is that just random too.?

HitmanN In reply to unclassicalartist32 [2009-11-26 02:34:37 +0000 UTC]
Of course not. Light comes from one direction in the picture, and shades are added to opposing sides of things, naturally. As for the light source, I just pick whatever fits the scene. If I have no better ideas, then it's usually a bright light coming from the top right part of the picture, like in this one.

How long did it take you to learn how to shade metal?I really have alot of trouble trying to color metal/Does it make a difference if I use a normal pen to outline my pencil drawings and then try to color it using adobe photo shop?

Can't say I have learned that yet. :3 That's a thing that has some randomness to it. Well, maybe not shading, but the highlights, reflections, etc. That's a neverending challenge.
Lines don't really affect the colouring or shading process, unless they're really thick and pitch black, in which case it can eat from the depth a bit. Cleaner and refined lines almost always look better though, regardless of subject.

But there is a tool that can make these lines lighter.

PFF
People really would mark this as mature? Hell, half the stuff in Horror and Macabre isn't marked mature, and it's worse than this
Some people just need to grow a thicker skin.
So, when will this end up being flagged as mature anyway

Awwww, I love the plushie.
And I must say that I noticed that a lot of your girls have shorter torsos than average. It's not a bad thing, I think it's cute. Just an observation I picked up along the way.

Hehe, yeah, I like short girls altogether. I'm not a very big fan of the anorexic stick arm/leg style used in some anime/manga series.

Neither am I. I think that's one of the reasons why I love your gallery so much, your girls are more life like than some other artists' anime girls.
I just thought I'd share my observation.
