Description
it doesnt come very often that i enjoy developing mech design. 9 out of 10, i dont find no pleasure working on robots, but something strange happened, and i just had blast on couple of these robot concepts.initially, when you start something with small intention like GEISHA, it works out better than you can hope for and it began to evolve as you control the pixels on it.
MONK, you see here is also a part of heaven's guardians, but much more premitive compare to geisha's capability. but its simple mechanism allows the deities to mass produced this particular unit.
those warriors on the front line, fullback on your foot ball team, or the muscle for the heavenly mob.
intention was be more typical, as far as mechanism and joint structure is concerned, but i tried once again to approach the uniqueness of it, however i came to a sad conclusion that you can only be so creative with humanoid mech designs. either you can be extremely creative and make a rediculously original bots, which will most likely look funny, or have the reminiscence of robots/human figures that you are familiar with and have viewers differenciate it from whats already been done.
Concept of monk is based on Buddist sprituality, and it should suggest shaolin monk esque appearance, but the halo you see over its head suggest more of christianity. thats because when some serious shit goes down and hell come arise, you gotta put everything together that stands for "good" in this world.
excuse me guys, let me put away my mecha-geek glasses now.
i think i about had it with doing bots, and move on to sexy babe again. preferably sexy, naked babes.
done over 2 to 3 nights, (feels like i spent more time on this than Geisha, although, i didnt) using only PSCS.
Concept of geisha, monk, created for TSM, LIMBUS, ORIGIN (c) HOON mess studio.com

Not bad *nods*. It gives the impression, I think...and am I mistaken or do I see a pilot in that thing?

Hmm..it looks like theres a person in the torso. Someone who is bending over bowing his or her head. ....But that's just me. If i look at it closely, i know (or think i know) that you didn't mean for that and it's just me giving it a cursory glance.

That's good, although a bit like General Grievous, ain't it? Good nonetheless.

when i saw MONK i thought that his pose would be more sleek and holy if Monk stands straight..that'll *i think* give more humble superiority to it. ^___^ hopefully if ever you get another one of them mech inspirations, i hope you try and make nuns and priests. ^_^ christian yeah but they're still kinda one of them heavenly assistants or try other religions. they've got kewl ceremonial costumes like in Africans or Muslims. religious army.

I myself am not a large fan of mechs (cept for the gundams) but your version of mixing religious figures into their design is really awesome, where did this one come from?

The thumbnail makes it look like a Baphometmobile action figure... (I'm gonna sue for false advertising!) Even though its quite the opposite-- its amazing.

mmm..really have an excelent work, but about the laws of gravity control on this...it llok so human like you say...but have pieces that controls the gravity...this things can made it breake the rules on normal robotics...so you can put away the legs.. to do a flyer machinery..or other thing that can go far away un some parts of humanity..

Hm, few design mistakes that bug me:
Legs are completely under-dimensioned. In comparison with its arms, standing on a few thin pieces of metal makes it look riddiculous.
Topmost, the connector between Leg and Foot (which has to carry all of its weight!) is far too fragile to work under usual gravity. Additionally, there is simply a gap between connector and foot
Didn't like it as much as Geisha, if you try to put this one as striking force, you have to build it much more massive.

This rocks! Probably one of my favourites of yours, actually. An great take on the whole mech thing. The electric shoulder bits look real cool, and I love the beads Looking back, it might look better without the halo, but it looks good either way. I like the textures of the mech, too
