The first piece from year zero four!the fact is that 1 hour speed painting such as this is luxury i cant effort, but humping photoshop and molesting pixels cant be plugged away from me when inspiration hits.
so called inspiration oriented painting must stop for a couple of months, and i must chase the god damn script given to me, and whip out a giant.
thoughtS behind this piece PULP series go something like this.
a dull statement pointing towards creators behind today's culture telling kids its okay to fight, its necessary to feel the orgasm and taste bloody sweat of other men, get your skin cut, and bruises and black eyes in order to learn the meaningful lesson in life. the fact is that it fuckin hurts like hell, and consume meaningless energy in momentary male bonding situation which wont get you anywhere at the end. but then again, can i spit out rhymes and embed messages on your head like Palahniuk? no. so forget what i said just now. my hypocrite-o-meter is shooting off the chart!
when it comes to sex and violence, i tend to go for the "sex," 9 out of 10, but it doesnt mean violence is less interesting subject to tell story or describe visually. if you do see either of them harmful to you and your children's psyche, the best advice i can offer you now, is "leave this fucking planet!"

how odd...I saw this painting here months and days and hours ago and really loved it but forgot to fav it, then I couldn't remember who painted it. I went through all the people I devwatch but still couldn't find it. yet low and behold I stumble across it again. great work! I love loose conceptual paintings like this. kind of belated remark seeing as how this was posted like ten months ago but oh well, digital paint doesn't fade...

I think the choice of colour for a " violence" theme is great. The style is also very realistic/abstract, which I adore.

sex vs violence --- SEX ALL THE WAY! *high fives Hoon* Sex is really sometimes much more soothing to the eye especially if you see it "artistically" instead of just plain porn. Violence usually invokes very easily nausea and unwanted headaches.
Woo hoo great quickie with the paints and the raping and molesting of the programs hahaha. The character reminds me of a mix between Ochira (forgive me if I had mistaken the name), the last king of KOF2k? and Ryu.
Oh ... and I dun understand the part when you said "must chase the god damn script given to me, and whip out a giant." Care to enlighten me oh holy one?

verry nice, Hoon.. Speed-style is always a good style.. The part I like most is the ..I dunno.. (motion?) is conveyed by the lines.. good job.. Oh I like the colors too.. hehe could be an 80's movie poster (think rambo)
