okay, another stab at screentone madness.just wanted to confirm and optimize the technique. /DONE
couple of character with attitude, moya [link] and Morganne [link] go toe to toe, head to head.....or ____to___ !!! [< ---insert visually striking body parts here]
to answer some of the repeating questions you asked from previous digital screentone piece :[link]
Line art was completely done using Painter 8. Pens(ink) brush tool. like weights were done with single strokes, rather than applying multiple strokes in a line.
Tone work was done using PSCS, NO photoshop filters used. NO. all the tone patterns were designed and applied without scaning any actual screentone films.
On this particular piece, i tried to use sharper tone work (by cutting and scratching) than smooth, erased out approach.
pscs, painter8, 6 hours.

That's just fucking amazing. You did some amazing digital screen art, and I am flabbergasted. (An you know it's serious if you use a word like flabbergasted) I always like screen tones on comic art, I think since i saw it in the original TMNT B&W comics from the early eighties. It give it this dimension and space, all without it losing any dynamics. Man. SO now naturally I'm trying to figure it out, and how it works. What is PSCS? Paint shop?
