Description
The eldest Ginkgo Biloba tree in Hungary. These ancient trees often live several hundred or thousand years but they are not indigenous 'round here. This tree is one of those few that were planted around 1799 and 1802 by earl George Festetics. He, as a great supporter of developments in agriculture and scientific enlightenment, not only built a school and supported researches, but brought exotic plants from distant lands like China. This ginkgo biloba was one among them and still surviving in the beautiful castle park at Keszthely, by the Western end of Lake Balaton. (If you're turning up there, the castle is really worth to see, and you can spend even two or three days to discover all its interesting things.)Techie talk:
This is a quite long exposure of 3 minutes and 15 seconds. I had really a good luck because wind spared the tree and blown the clouds only.
