Augustus didn't particularly care for studying any more than your average recruit, but he understood the importance of being prepared. He'd really rather this study session not be so... hands-on, though. If he has to have an animal encounter he'd rather it be at the end of his knife, not nibbling on his tail! Shepp tried to say the experience was invaluable (and very adorable), but Augustus still contemplated finding a different study partner.
Another young Augie, although not quite as young as last time! He's fifteen here, a fresh but determined recruit.
