I admit this flag is useless, but I did this idea independently of this , so I can claim my own version. It represents Hindustani as spoken macrolanguage in mixed area, where pure flag of India could be seen as political sybmol. However, in my eyes flag of India is pan-Hindustani symbol suitable to cover Pakistan (because of green stripe). Flag of Pakistan is pan-Urdu symbol covering all Indian Muslims (similar like flag of Israel can cover all Jews). Some more flags are ready to cover extended territory:Union Jack can cover Dublin
Irish tricolor can cover Belfast
German flag can cover Wien
Austrian flag can cover Bozen
Czech flag can cover Bratislava
Italian flag can cover San Marino
Flag of Bangladesh can cover Calcutta
Romanian flag can cover Moldova (similarly in Colombia and Ecuador)
Indonesian flag or its versions can cover Malaysia and Singapore
