Same here, and the petition is over 20k ATM. Here's hoping it keeps climing and DA takes notice. I tried Eclipse and managed it for two days before I had to switch back. I want to like it, but there's too many features missing and it ruined the resolution on my images.

It looks like the quality of submissions take a dive even when you submit them as a png, we can't use smilies or avatars with ::. Also why is there a "DeviantART suggestions" category if we can't submit to it?

I tried it for two days myself and I just finally figured out how to delete messages from my Inbox before I had to switch back. It also seems like Sta.sh writer is still gone. Will you be uploading those screenshots?

I'm guessing at least half of those people who like Eclipse are just mesmerized by the shiny. It's not horrible and I really want to like it, but there's so many things Eclipse needs to adjust and re-add before I considering switching to it again. At least I can zoom out in my Inbox and it makes looking at the giant thumnails bearable. Also it seems they moved the delete button in thumbnails to the left hands side.

I can see where you're coming from. Some tweaking, and I mean MAJOR tweaking and Eclipse can be good. But sadly, I don't think that's going to be the case. Also, wtf happened to my smiley icon?
I had to switch back to the old site, navigating through Eclipse the way it is right now is unbearable. Also, huge coincidence, right after I made the switchΒ back to the old site, I had trouble logging in to DA.

The old design was fucked it has gone outmoded in like 2007. I remember how in spring 2013 a classmate saw me checking out feedback on DA and noticed the site looked so awful.
I wonder why it even took so long to finally have changed it. This new design is far more comfortable.

It's not the look of the site that bothers me. Both version of the site have their share of bugs, but DA really needs to polish Eclipse more and at least release it on DA's birthay in July. I want to like Eclipse. I really do, but not in its current state.

Yes! I know they've been fixing some bugs but the whole interface just sucks. Reply boxes are so small they're making me claustrophobic! There's no option to preview your comment, you can't use smiley tags : : and finding the different groups of notifications is a nightmare. You can't always choose "select all" when you want to mass delete some things. I almost missed someone's b-day because I simply couldn't see the b-day notifications anywhere. And the list could go on. I've tried out this shit for two days only and I had to switch back. Absolutely revolting!

They launched the mobile app in ca. 2014. It's a stripped-down version of dA and is full of bugs still up to this date. I can't imagine that this will be better with eclipse.

Some people are saying "It's not that bad" and while they're entitled to their opinion I would like the old version to at least be an option.

It's not just Sta.sh or groups. The new version is broken and buggy. Some users can't access the site at all using Eclipse. Not to mention Deviations are now lower quality even when you upload them as a png file, I can't add the avatars of users who have donated points to me on the "Donation Pool widget" (nevermind that it reset my goal) and you can no longer hide your site activity on your profile.
While I like "Dark Mode" and the ability to upload a header, I would like an option to view smaller thumbnails and my submissions to be the quality in which I upload them.
Oh believe me when I said I've gotten my facts and I've tried Eclipse. Why can't we have old DA as well as Eclipse?

And so many are attacking spyed like he should care what they say or want when, at the end of the day, if he wanted too bad enough, he could literally take this site offline entirely. It's HIS website. He OWNS it. If people think they're leaving cause of a program change, they really need to stop and think of what could happen should he just say 'fuck it' and shut the whole nine yards down without so much as a warning.
