"Formerly human... maybe the oldest of the Cenobites. The devastation of time and the constant reconfiguration of the flesh created a being more animal than man... a living testament of the true personification of guttural instinct and the desire to feed."
Because I don't want my friends and watchers to think that I'm no longer into Hellraiser.
It's kind of funny. I didn't enjoy Hellraiser: Bloodline as much as much as I enjoyed the first three films (personally, I think Bloodline would be made of AWESOME if someone would just re-insert at least SOME of the deleted scenes), but I love the ChatterBeast. I want one so it can eat the neighbor's dogs when they come into my yard to chase my cats.
The linework took awhile since decent ChatterBeast pictures are REALLY hard to come by. So, I was stuck using pictures of the NECA action figure and a couple of dark screen captures from the movie, and the two differ from one another significantly...so my ChatterBeast looks a tad different...different enough that I may possibly be able to say that he is a different ChatterBeast from the one in the film thus say he's Luciva's personal puppy-guardian, right?
Aside from a few touch-ups, I actually coloured this piece up in one sitting. I haven't been able to do that in a LONG time. What can I say? Working with textures is FUN.
This ChatterBeast looks better than my Previous Attempt.
I dedicate this piece to =firepixie , because she's made of awesome and win...and she finds the ChatterBeast frightening. Happy Nightmares, girlfriend!

Thank you, and oddly enough, they have some of those over on MonstersGame. I wonder if the developers were inspired.

God, you're really, really good at lines and colour. You're shading in this is also really good since you change your style of shading between the skin and the leather which really stands out to me.
Ughh
I love the teeth and the ears!
Can I pat the cute doggie? :333

No petting the doggie unless you wanna lose an arm. But thank you. I think this is one of my best pieces.

lol. Thank you, but that's not the only reason she's scared of this puppy. She used to have nightmares about him way back when.

I know. She said she had a reoccurring nightmare where she kept running over him with her car and yet he wouldn't die. ^.^;

If it tried, I'd hit him over the head with newspaper. ChatterBeast is probably a fast learner.

Reminds me of Cerberus, the dog guarding the gates to hell. Though he has three heads.
This beast looks absolutely ferocious, even without the blood dripping from his maw. I've not seen the movie this is from, but he's certainly not something I'd like to come across on alone on a dark night. (...Or during the day on a crowded street, for that matter.)
The textures are really well done, and the background, though simple, adds a level of interest to the image. Great work on this one... terrifying, but great.

I guess in some ways he is a bit like Cerberus, although he's more of a pet in the movie then a guardian (which is his purpose in my story).
Thank you so much. And you probably don't want to see the movie. It was kind of bad. ^.^;

lol. I don't think I'll outgrow the ChatterBeast as much as I'll just grow to dislike my own artwork. Thank you.
And man why can't I have HBO and encore right now? Oh well, I have the first four movies and I need to get the other four.

I just have the 20th anniversary edition of the first Hellraiser, a possible bootleg of Hellbound and basic DVD of Hellraiser III and IV (i.e they have no extras). I didn't even know we could get the Box (The Lament Configuration) set here in the states though. That's pretty awesome.

"The Beyond" is a classic Italian horror film. It's one Fulchi's signature films. XD
Man, I have GOT to get that movie. I wonder if I still have my old VHS tape recorded from Cinamax way back when. I love zombiem movies even though they have a tnedency to give me nightmares (which I use as inspiration for my art).

You bet I do! XD
I didn't knew my cousin had this big ass dog. And one day when I came home from shopping I opened the door and the first thing I saw was this huge beast staring at me. I was frozen and shocked XD
Definitely I wasn't expecting that when I arrived home. But the dog turned out to be very sweet. He just look intimidating because of his size. XD
