Light like this is the moments that landscape photographers live for and when it happens you want to be ready to capture the moment to the best of your ability. While shooting this sunrise another photographer came running to me asking if I had a spare battery for him. He had been shooting time-lapse from early morning and he ran out of juice. Unluckily for him my D800 batteries weren't compatible with his D700. To say that I felt sorry for him can only begin to describe how I felt!
