This is not exactly as finished as I would have liked it to been, but I'm going to have to call it done for right now. Perhaps I will work on it some more in the near future, once some time frees up.Painted on only one layer

Squinting my eyes and it is as if I'm looking at a photograph. There's no flaw, no dead give away, that would tell me it's a painting or rendering.

His landscape is awesome. One of these days, I need to save up and add it to my collection. I really respect seeing digital painters who look to the oil painting masters for inspiration. I hope to do more of the same! I spent most of my time in grad school illustrating in oil, and after graduation I hope to move back into doing more digital painting. Beautiful! It has the atmosphere of an old photograph. One could almost step right into it and feel the damp breeze, hear the sound of the waves against the rocks...
