Credit frozenlilacs for her most wonderful Gymerrianite race - you should check 'em out! [link] ...very impressive. They are post-apocalyptic humans with gems fused to their bodies as power sources (and with gem names), and their world is ours but completely unrecognizable - she has created a very good story here!

So this is a prelim sketch of one of the characters I created for this race. Her name is Moss Agate, she is a magilore specializing in medicine (essentially a doctor) but since Gymerrianites are post-apocalyptic they find ruins of old technology and revere it as magic - even as far as creating a religion around said "ancient technology". Hence, in my char's case, the cadeuces which is nowadays merely a symbol for Medicine, is for her a sigil of great importance and a spiritual and magical icon to be revered.

I spent hours on this sketch in Photoshop, trying to make it visible - I couldn't use a scanner so I had to take photos instead, which came out VERY grayish... A sketch should NOT take that long to fix up.

I also inked her and am in the process of coloring her, but now I can't decide if I should color the inked version or the sketchy one, since I kinda like this one better than the inked one. (And spent so much time cleaning it up!)
