“I look good in this cheerleading uniform,” Jimmy adored, posing for his cousin’s mirror. “And here I doubted that I’d fit in this, more-or-less look good.”

“I told you, you needed to stop doubting me,” Joanne replied, admiring her work. “Like I said, you’ve got the figure.”

Jimmy was helping Joanne move to college. Since he arrived, she had been in an upset mood because she left family and friends behind to attend university and worried about the future. While moving boxes, Jimmy found her old high-school cheerleading uniform. Pulling it out, he joked that he doesn’t think he’d fit in that. The joke was meant to lighten the mood, but she took it further. A back-and-forth turned into a bet that Jimmy could fit in it. Taking off his shirt and sliding the uniform over his head, and to his surprise, Joanne was right. Joanne liked the idea of playing dress-up with her cousin and persuaded him to try on some other clothing. Jimmy agreed since she seemed to be in a better mood, remaining adamite that he didn’t like it at all.

“Say, since you’re helping me move, why doesn’t Jinnee join us for the trip?” Joanne asked.

Jimmy smiled, “As long as you think Jinnee looks good enough.”
