Description
It was a heady thing. These two wizards in their prime, both sporting their full traditional dueling outfits. One radiating a dark aura of cold calculating power, the other brimming with animalistic energy, golden eyes gleaming at her when she dared meet his eyes. Both willing to tear each other apart. Just for her.
More artvault! stuff?
Yes!
Though I think I can see the bottom now.
I remember having so much fun with all the little details on their outfits, all the buttons and swirls. These wizards are cool.

I never would have imagined the image or description to be of Lupin. I see Lupin in the books as decidedly a beta-wolf, with James as his original alpha and Sirius as his second. I see no other reason for him to keep Sirius's animagus abilities secret all through Book Three when he genuinely believed Sirius was a murderer out to kill Harry.
When I'm feeling in a nasty mood, I refer to Lupin as a spineless hypocrite, but I realize that's not entirely fair. Beta wolves are necessary, and not everyone can or should be an alpha. Grimmauld Place would have exploded in Book Five if Remus had turned the rivalry between Snape and Sirius into a three-way battle for dominance. In that situation, he was much more effective as a beta.

You make several very good points. I have to be honest and say that I drew this one quite a while ago, somewhere around the release of HP5, the book I mean. So a lot of what you correctly refer to as a "spineless hypocrite" (ROFLMAO) hadn't been invented then. He was an enabler to the max and for that there are no excuses.
Sirius Black has always given me the screaming meemies, in a thoroughly unpleasant way. You won't see him too much in my gallery, same goes for Potter senior. I still think Lupin had some potential, I would have loved to have seen him more animalistic; permanently amber eyes and slightly tipped ears. He never necessarily struck me as an Alpha, I agree with you on that front. But I would have liked to have seen him comfortable with his animal leanings. (It had some potential, greater body strength, better reflexes, developed senses etc. That pitted against Snape's pure raw power would have been a feast to behold).
