Personality: Like many a white haired anime or anime-adjacent character, Astaphanos is a capital V Villain. Prone to fits of monologuing and dramatic gestures, as well as unrestrained catty remarks, he's honestly just kind of insufferable. He's perfectly aware he's from a video game (and is excruciatingly educated on the non-online iterations of his home series), and therefore he's not necessarily inclined towards actual evil, but he is certainly a schemer more than an out-and-out hero, and he prefers to set up a situation that will make him look good (and require less work on his part, because eaugh, work) than to just...go do something kind apropos of nothing. He's extremely awkward when trying to really be nice, like a baby deer. ...Just, like, think of James from Pokemon.

Other Notes:
Originally appearing as one of the "big bad" villains in the Dischronicle series, this specific iteration of Astaphanos comes from the MMORPG Dischronicle Online: Minds as One, where he appeared as a raid boss in the third expansion, which heavily featured cameos from the original games (some of which were so forced into the narrative of the raid that people considered it pretty gauche and a poor use of the original IP).

He is delighted to have been gifted a Keyblade, and he's honestly living for the opportunity to do fantastical deeds outside his game for once. A new audience! The being good part is new, but that won't stop him from making devious plans. For the light!
Extremely fashionable, he has a wardrobe a mile deep. Maybe literally, it's the internet, who knows. Won't be caught dead without shoulder pads of some kind.
Don't get him started on the infamous original localization for the Dischronicle series (poorly translated in the US as Heterochronicle)--they had the audacity to translate his name as Keith and he will never, ever, ever let it go.
