I used a minky with a shorter texture for this Derpy, so she turned out more slender and lanky even though it's the same pattern! It's a bit different from the cuddly wuddly minky 3 (this fur is more silky wilky
). I think this fur is a bit too bluish to be perfect but she looks so cute anyway, I quite like how she turned out in person (not sure about the photos..). Anyway, now that I got that out of my system it's time to finish up Pinkie Pie and Vinyl Scratch!

Yeah, it looks nice in photos since it's not wild and pellmell, but sadly I don't know where to buy other colours of this particular minky. It came from a baby blanket :\

This came from a baby blanket from costco. I bought a pink and blue thinking to use for pinkie pie and maybe RD, but the blue turned out to be way closer to Derpy

I need to stop buying fabric. I thought I was all set with my cube drawer unit and fabric storage, but I've bought so much fabric that I'm starting to pile it in random places around the living room again because it doesn't all fit in my drawers

Oh yes, she puts together all those baby dolls she sells on ebay, so she always needs blankets and stuff
lol, there is no stopping buying fabric. No point in lying to ourselves any longer. I finally got around to piling it all in my closet instead of at the end of my bed, and it was very full as it was. But went and bought more minky anyway. You need to just buy a fabric store! Then you could keep it all in the store instead

For some reason her eyes and cutie mark stand out really well. I can't tell if it is more pronounced because of the shorter fabric, or something else, but either way very well done! Beautiful!

Yep, that's an effect of the shorter minky not overwhelming the embroidery as much, since it doesn't floof around like cuddle 3 does. It does look neater as a result. Thanks for your kind words

It's not actually, though it does look similar in pics. This is actually a bit less blue than the dusty blue
