Description
This was a piece that I was inspired to draw a few years ago after watching a documentary on Dinka tribes in Africa. Just as the ancient Greeks, or Hindu religions had their mythological stories and gods, the Dinka tribes have theirs. From running across the cattle at the test of man hood, to the annual competitions of drinking their cattles' milk, this piece is sort of a literal depiction of some of mythological beliefs and ritualistic customs of the tribes. This piece is drawn in graphite pencil, and colored pencil.
