I LOVE this.  I love the lines, the colors (which do not detract from the lines or pose), and the pose.  It's a very interesting pose.  I love the way his body and legs are curved/bent.  You don't see that sort of pose very often.  I think it would be even more striking if you deepened the shadows and accentuated the highlights a bit more.
