Very nice! With so much going on on top of one another it almost looks 3D, I like the colours even though they're horrible (it makes sense, honest) but my favourite are the mushrooms.

yeap i like it u have a very emotional abstract work here ant a good mixture of traditional and digital tecniques, yup i like it, for me it looks like a radiography of the interior of a alien versus the interior of a human. nice

Dont fret over toolio. You were one of the few posters he actual didnt get pissed at and held true respect fort. Yeah, toolios got his issues that he deals with and sometimes he comes across kinda off the deep end . But really, the person on GS wasnt nearly as "MustDestroy!" in real life. Somtimes at least....

this way if someone browses through your stuff, they'll see that this has half a dozen comments. as everyone knows, more comments automatically means the piece is better.
grapeshot was better back in the day, although i regret having poked so much fun at toolio. i really should have taken it easier on him.
i'll think of some ideas. possibly do a concept sketch or two next week (busy with tests/projects/essays for now).

I think it boils down to the fact that its difficult, even uncomfortable to give criticisms to anonymous people on a website. Without actually knowing the person, or having a good enough repor over the net, You dont know how the person will take a " I think you should work on this...., ot you really could do better" comment. Unfortunately, LOTS of people will take it personally. Its easier, safer, and all arounds "feels good" to go with the "Nice Job". Sadely, I fall into that classifiacation sometimes. But, when I do comment, even with a "good job", i really mean it, cuz otherwise i wont say anything.
Thats one of the reasons I don't frequent or post grapeshot as often. That whole attitude is generalized over the entie board now. Its a community of "Yes" men kissing each others asses. Ohhh...the good ole days, now THAT was a forum sonny!

A collaboration would be cool. I used to collaborate with a friend of mine on flyer design, ....until he tried to pass a flyer off as being his 100% behind my back to a prospective client. Asshole, errgghh....Cant stand it when people do that kind of stuff.

yeah, my favorite was the last one from GS (the brown blue one i think).
i'm still oscillating between liking/disliking this place. i feel compelled to offer "insightful" comments when the opportunity arises, but people don't really like it when i do. of course, that's not a problem with you because i can say the cliche crap and it's true. good work, cool, etc.
still looking forward to what you'll do next. maybe a collab is in order...?

I need to get some new stuff together...just been loading older images to this site. Maybe today I'll put aside some "Erik time" and get to working on new things.
Ref: Floaters - The only one of the color variations I was somewhat satisfied with was the brown and blue. I tend to like the almost dissolving, its "there but its not" look. Did that make sense? Anyways,
I'm not too good at coloring in PShop (or by hand for that matter). I need to practice up some more.
I'm this site is giving me some inspiration by viewing all the other art. I've been seriously lacking the will to really get into making things lately.
