Description
OK so I'm not very good at making props lol, and I don't make them very often or anything.. but I've been working on this for a few years. I put it away because I kept setting it on fire by accident (the circuit I had was a little off).. and then I recently had a friend troubleshoot the circuit with me, and we found out the reason why it kept setting things on fire xD.So! here it is, my Dragonball Radar. Too bad I already have all 7 dragonballs hahahaha.

That's really cool Looks great too.
A few years back when I lived in Seattle and I went to Uwajimaya (it's a giant japanese supermarket in downtown Seattle - has a Kinokunia bookstore in it too) I found a toy dragon radar. It was fairly small though. But if you pushed the button on the top it flashed between six different LEDs and made the appropriate noise. I still have it laying around somewhere.

Way awesome. I would love to have a Dragonball Radar. ;A; You really went the extra mile by adding the lights and working switch. Thanks for sharing this, it's wonderful!

Oh snap! AWESOME! What did you use to make the casing?
Does it actually work? You should just follow the yellow light and see if it brings you to a dragonball.

I used this dragonball radar thing that I had that was like a calendar. It was a bit fat, so I sawed off part of it to make it thinner, and I made the faceplate out of a polystyrene piece, and I have all of the electronics behind that plate. The switch I put into the top as well. It actually does blink and turn on and stuff, but unfortunately it can't detect any electromagnetic frequencies xDD

That is an awesome prop, well done!
I've always wanted one of these as a toy, but they never sold them. I also wanted a scouter, now that I think about it...
Hmph.

But I bet they're all out of stock/no longer manufactured by now... *20 years too late* I want a scouter...
I'd totally order one.

True, but those balls caused a very cold hearted villain to feel something that resembles joy they thought. :3

lol.. maybe, but I used a DB radar calendar thing I had as a base, so I'd have to get a bunch of those to reproduce it probably

You know our secret with the Rayearth gems was to use those plastic keepsake ornaments we got at Michaels/JoAnns and made a mold from that. Got the blue stuff whatever its called, its expensive but you dont need that much.
