Dib stood there, watching as the sky was illuminated by the greenish spotlights and the other dimmer, smaller lights from the Irken aircrafts. He could barely hear the screams of the people as they ran helter-skelter, searching for shelter or some sort of help even though most of them knew it was futile. He could barely see and smell the smoke and the stench in the air as the artillary from every corner of the globe went into cinders from the advance weaponry of Irken technology.

All he could see was Zim, standing there tall and proud as he led the Irken force, bringing Earth to its knees and to its destruction. His eyes scanned coldly at the people wailing in vain for a miracle, for all this pain and suffering to stop, for it all to be just a nightmare. Gesturing his troops to head south, he turned his icy gaze towards Dib.

"I have told them to take no prisoners, but lucky for you, Dib-worm, I told them not to touch you. I told them I will deal with you personally."

Dib was speechless. He stood there rooted to the spot, not knowing what to retaliate.

"This is it, Dib-stink. It's all up to you now. Will you join me, or will you choose the filthy humans over me?"

This was the hardest decision Dib had to ever make in his whole life...
